The Casualties Union is organised into local units representing differing skill levels. These are study circles, groups, branches and regions, as detailed below:

Consists of less than six members, trainees and/or junior trainees.
Branch
Consists of at least six full members
Region
The UK and elsewhere is divided into fifteen regions, whose directors represent the local branches, groups and study circles at Council.
